In My Humble Opinion

It was my last night on this visit to Ho Chi Minh city and I was tired. I was also hungry…m. Instead of researching a place to eat I decided to walk from the hotel to whatever was close so off I went. One block and there it was…Eleven Cafe. Looked fine and it was open so in I went. A really good decision. The place was tasteful and immaculate. The big surprise was the menu. It featured a serious variety of foodie dishes that has something for everyone. Beef, pork, lamb, duck, chicken, fish, seafood and vegetarian. Pasta, Viet rice dishes and a Amazing array of creative Spring Roll choices. I really have a difficult time choosing but narrowed my entree to either Caramel Pork Rib and Quail Egg in Coconut juice or Crispy Three Color Seafood Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf. I chose the latter and combined it with the Avocado and King Crab Spring Rolls. I could not have been more pleased with my choices…all perfectly prepared, fresh and exquisitely presented. Did I mention the staff? They showed Real interest in what I thought about their efforts. They all seemed vested in the success of their workplace. To make a short story even longer I would recommend this eatery to Everyone. The only Negative is after many trips to Vietnam that I discovered it on my last night…many more dishes that I would like to try.
